I was born and grow up in a small city in the north China, which made me a typical north girl, forthright and optimistic. I graduated from Shandong Agriculture University, in which my major was silkworm breeding. I learned that the nervous system is so fascinating and mysterious even in a small insect. That’s how I started to be interested in neuroscience. There are many things I want to know about the brain. Currently, I am studying neuronal circuit refinement in Iwasato lab.
I love to try new things. I like the feeling of challenging unknown. I also like to travel, watch movies and drink wine, because they help me relax from the tense work of the day.
My life in Mishima is perfect. I always wanted to live in a quiet and beautiful city and do research there. Now I got all these things in Mishima.
